About the event
Join us as we celebrate the 200th anniversary of Giacomo Beltrami's visit to Minnesota, his quest to find the source of the Mississippi, and the help and guidance he received from the Dakota, Métis, and Ojibwe to survive and thrive during his time here.
The first day of our festivities will be at the Buena Vista Ski area, connected to Lake Julia. Sunday's events will be held at the History Center in Bemidji and conclude with the Historical Society's Annual Meeting.
We are honored to welcome incredible speakers, historians, and artists to our two-day event. All proceeds benefit the Historical Society, a 501(c)(3) organization.
This event is sponsored in part by Paul Bunyan Communications. If you or your organization want to support this event, please get in touch with depot@beltramihistory.org.
