The Beltrami County Historical Society proudly presents The Shagwood Secret or…Double Deal at the Dirty Dog Saloon. Written by Teddy Keller; in partnership with Pioneer Drama Service, Inc. Produced by BCHS Board President Sue Bruns, directed by Vicki Stenerson, and starring an ensemble cast from the Bemidji Community Theatre.
Join us for a fun, family-friendly evening under the stars and let us transport you back in time. Snake Diamond and his greedy cohort, Delores Divine, are setting a trap for Ethelburt Shagwood. They realize he owns a mountain of gold, but his only interests are his horse and his ranch — until Delores lavishes her attention upon him. Meanwhile Chloe Clod, who slaves at Snake’s saloon for bed and board, attempts to warn Shagwood of the danger. Little does Chloe realize that she is an heiress in her own right!
Proceeds from this performance help support the Historical Society. It is generously underwritten by The Bunkhouse restaurant, featuring the best burgers on the east side of Bemidji: 1602 Bemidji Ave N. Tickets include specialty franks from Lucky Dogs and refreshments by Tim Hortons. Arrive early and enjoy cash bar beverages by Bridgid’s Pub.
