The Beltrami County History Center will be closed to the public until April 1, 2020 in accordance with the City of Bemidji’s decision to close city public buildings in response to COVID-19. In addition, all programming and events including the Women’s History Lecture Series, Train Days at the Depot, and the Antique Appraisal event will be cancelled or postponed.
Although this is an uncertain time for all of us, I think it’s important to remember that our ancestors had gone through challenging events in their times as well and that inherited courage is still in us. We can wash our hands more often, live a bit more intentionally, and communicate kindness to each other at a distance. When this passes we will all have an interesting story to tell our grandchildren.
Although our services to the public are limited, you may still call (218-444-3376) or email (email@example.com) your research requests and access our website http://beltramihistory.org which includes links to our online gift shop.
